The drag-and-drop process makes coding much more comfortable and less complicated. It is easy for kids to learn and teach. Block-based programming encourages experimentation.
MIT App Inventor is a free cloud-based platform for developing mobile apps using a block-based drag-and-drop style block coding language. It has a web-based editor for building iPhone and Android Mobile Apps. MIT App Inventor was created by MIT, in conjunction with Google, as a way to help beginner programmers, as young as six years.

This course serves as a good starting point for those who wish to eventually master App Development and Computer Programming.
